THE ARTIST

Named after her own paint mare Luna, Paint Horse studio embodies two of Britt Woodall’s true passions— art and horses! An accomplished photographer since 2004, Britt shifted her passion from photographing newborn babies and families to photographing horses after moving from California to the Mill Spring, NC area— a true equine mecca in the southeast.

Over the past ten years, Britt has traveled throughout the United States and the world instructing photography in Australia, England, Brazil, and Canada. She has also photographed celebrities such as Pink!, Ziggy Marley, and Jeff Gordon and her photography has been featured in People Magazine, Us Weekly, and the Ellen Degeneres show.

Since making her home in Mill Spring, Britt has dedicated much of her time to the equestrian life… She has worked several summers assisting at equine summer camps and has recently begun working at an equine sanctuary, which specializes in saving some of the equestrian world’s beautiful yet forgotten animals.

When she isn’t working with horses and donkeys, or riding her own horse, you can often find Britt with a paintbrush in her hand! Whether it’s painting horses, dogs, or birds she has a strong drive to create!
